Petrina Austin is an Equity Partner and Head of Asset Management at Tritax, where she has led the Asset and Property Management function since 2007. In her role, Petrina oversees strategic asset management, ESG integration and property operations across Tritax’s £9bn logistics and industrial portfolio, with a focus on developing valueenhancing initiatives for Tritax and its stakeholders[. Petrina champions a service culture within industrial and logistics and has significantly grown the asset management team’s capabilities in adjacent areas such as sustainability and power.
A chartered surveyor, Petrina began her career at Carter Jonas in 1996 before moving to King Sturge (now JLL) to specialise in institutional industrial portfolio management. She later became a Partner at Knight Frank, where she led the Trophy Asset Management team, managing highprofile assets (including some of London’s most iconic buildings) and complex client mandates.
Recognising her industry knowledge, expertise and commitment to the sector, Petrina was profiled by Property Week as one of 25 women working to shift the dial in the property industry in 2025 and, in the same year, was recognised as ‘Leader of the Year – Commercial’ at its Inspiring Women in Property awards. In her public engagements, Petrina speaks on topics such as customer and data analytics for value creation, operational resilience, ESG-driven value creation, client partnership models, and the future of logistics real estate.
Passionate about raising the commercial property sector’s profile and making career opportunities more accessible to a broader mix of people, Petrina is a member of various industry bodies, including RICS, IAS, CILT and Women in Logistics.
